Directions
- Dissolve 1 Tbsp Sugar in the Water and sprinkle Dry Yeast granules over the water. Let stand until foamy.
- Add Water, Sugar, 1/2 cup Butter, and eggs.
- Mix well.
- Add sifted Flour and Salt.
- Mix well, cover, and let rise 4-5 hours (or overnight in the fridge).
- At least 5 hours before baking, Knead gently on a floured board.
- Do not get it stiff.
- Divide into 2-3 balls. Roll out each ball on a floured board, brush with melted butter and make into desired shapes.
- Let rise 4-5 hours.
- Bake at 400° for 8-12min (until lightly browned {the ones in the above picture are overdone}). Yields about 3 dozen rolls.
