Pizza Crust - Homemade
12" Pizzas
- 1 ¾ cups Warm Water
- 1 Tbsp Yeast
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 ½ tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- ~4 Cups Flour (Somewhere around 3.75 cups?)
- Corn Meal
- Whisk Water, Yeast, Sugar in a KitchenAid bowl. Let sit 5 minutes. If it bubbles continue, if not, get new yeast.
- Add Salt and Oil. Start mixing slowly using dough hook. Add Flour little by little. If it looks dry, you've added too much. (That can be rectified with about ½ Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp Warm Water.)
- Once well blended, remove from bowl and split into 2 balls (which can be frozen for later if desired.)
- Roll out dough as flat as you can, about 12-14 inches. Curl/fold edges for crust.
- Add Sauce and Toppings
- Dust a pizza peel with Corn Meal so the pizza can slide off easily
- Bake 450°F for about 12 minutes.
Red Sauce
- Use 3-5 Tbsp of whatever Marinara floats your boat. (We like Rao's)
